BROLIS state-of-the-art technology meets RUAG Ammotec (Defence & Law Enforcement)

RUAG Ammotec’s (BU Defence & Law Enforcement) product portfolio now includes the high-quality laser light modules, target markers, thermal imaging and thermal devices from BROLIS. At the same time, BROLIS benefits from RUAG Ammotec’s DLE worldwide dealer network.

“Ammotec products stand for the highest quality and precision. We apply the same standards when selecting our cooperation partners. BROLIS complements our existing product range and we are pleased to be able to offer these high-quality and modern products to the Defence & Law Enforcement market,” says René Hauser, Senior Director Business Development & Portfolio at RUAG Ammotec DLE. In the future, high-performance laser light modules (LLM) for long-range weapons, infrared target markers and illuminators, night vision devices, thermal devices and high-performance weapon sights in the short-wave infrared range (SWIR) will be offered.

BROLIS was founded on August 9, 2011 by the three Vizbaras brothers Augustinas, Kristijonas and Dominykas in Vilnius, Lithuania. They got off to a very successful start with the development and production of sensors, semiconductors and infrared laser products from the near infrared to the mid infrared range. BROLIS is a licensed military systems developer and manufacturer. The company develops a range of electro-optical systems and components for security, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting applications operating in the near infrared (NIR), short-wave infrared (SWIR) and long-wave infrared (LWIR) ranges. BROLIS’ state-of-the-art optoelectronic materials and technological solutions offer unique advantages for the most demanding applications. The products are valued by various militaries and are used in the field with NATO Stock Numbers (NSN).

“With RUAG Ammotec we have a strong partner for the future and we are pleased to be able to use Ammotec’s internationally established distribution network,” says Dominykas Vizbaras, CEO of BROLIS.
